Portugal, with a wide variety of soil types, and climatic conditions, has identified several typical regions, whitch led to the distinction of demarcated regions. Trying to present some of the country’s wine diversity, we propose a selection of farm wines, from small producers or cooperative wineries from different regions.

Fresh, dry or fruity wines, the white wines are ideal to take as appetizer, or to accompany white meats and fish.

The climate and soil of Portugal, the traditional grape varieties and the wisdom of winegrowers make the most appreciated Portuguese wines in the world. There are 8 demarcated regions, and 47 wine-growing sub-regions, based on soil-climatic characteristics, traditional grape varieties and vinification methods. That is why the Portuguese wines present an enormous diversity that promotes discovery.

Hearty and fruity Portuguese rosés made good friends all over the world. Its production began in Portugal, in Vila Real, with Mateus Rosé, north of the demarcated region of Port Wine, having become world famous and transforming Portugal into the great reference of this type of wine.

The Green Wine is unique in the world. Naturally light and fresh, produced in the north-west of Portugal, a coastal region with a short summer, which does not allow the full maturation of the grapes, which makes this wine of moderate alcohol content. Green Wine is a fruity wine, easy to drink, great as an aperitif or in harmony with light and balanced meals: salads, fish, seafood, white meats.
